First time visiting Village Transmission as a referral. I was impressed by their professionalism, friendliness and customer service when I arrived early before they even opened. All staff were at their desk, ready to assist - that seems rare, and I wasn't treated as if I was inconveniencing them for being early. They communicate clearly and throughout the process. It's helpful to receive photo/video reports on the condition of your entire vehicle to know potential issues even when you came in for one specific service. I find this separates them from most auto places I've visited. The pricing seems reasonable and affordable, and they charged hundreds less than the dealer quoted me. Now I'm going to consider bringing my vehicle for other issues beyond transmission.

I was referred to Village Transmission by Discount Tire to fix something on my tire that DT couldn't handle. It was easy to schedule and staff were very friendly. They recommended other work that I knew needed to be done. I was super lucky that they had a cancellation so they were able to get it done right away. Their after hours drop off/pick up is great, so I didn't miss work. The waiting area is very small, but they do have customer WIFI, which is great! Definitely recommend!

Village Transmission fixed my 2007 Toyota Matrix and got me back on the road. Yeah! My story: The check engine light came on one day and I immediately took my car to the Toyota dealership to have it fixed. It was there for 2 weeks and 3 times I was told it was fixed and shortly after driving the check engine light would come back on. Back to the shop again. After 2 weeks I lost faith that the dealership was actually working on fixing my car. Thats when I found Village Transmission and brought my car to them to fix. It did take another couple of weeks to figure out why the check engine light kept coming on, but at least I knew they were working on it. The service advisor I worked with kept in contact with me and explained what they had done and what they were going to do. It was a tricky situation for sure, but I felt confident that they were going to figure it out and they did. In the end I needed to have a new motherboard installed. The service advisor was able to order the part and have it installed very quickly. I couldnt be happier with the professional service and diligence of the mechanic. A wonderful place to have your car serviced.

The staff were very helpful for diagnosing my engine and drivetrain issues. They give realistic estimates on parts & labor, and are respectful of customers' needs.

I had an unusual request for Village Transmission Auto Clinic to replace the stock differential on my Toyota Tacoma with a limited slip differential for better traction on slippery surfaces. Hank at Randy's Worldwide Automotive (the parts source for my differential) told me they had worked with VT in the past and recommended them highly. That was a good sign since I've had good service from Randy's in the past. Josh at VT was very helpful in communicating with the parts supplier and when I dropped off the vehicle the work was done sooner than I expected. In addition to the differential replacement, the technician performed a full service check of the vehicle without even being asked. They even found a squeak in the vehicle I hadn't been able to diagnose myself. The differential works fine and I'm very satisfied with the professional respectful treatment I received and the work was done at a fair price. I have finally found a Automotive service and repair shop I can trust to do any work I don't want to tackle myself and would recommend them to a friend.
