Update (9/20/26): After reviewing the inspection results for both of my high mileage cars with photos, videos & checklists, sent to my cell phone by Villiage Transmission & Auto Clinic, as a text message LINK (super convenient 👍), I was able to make some informed decisions, rather than relying on a false sense of safety & security. My beloved 2010 Cadillac SRX needs several repairs which I cannot afford at this time, so she will remain parked in the driveway as a .beautiful tool shed for a few months until I can provide her with the proper TLC she needs. That's better than driving her till the wheels literally fall off (very worn out lower control arm bushings). That could be dangerous & that's just the most urgent problem. Thank you for the thorough & detailed inspection, so I can avoid injuring myself & other people on the road. In the meantime, I'll drive my other car, which has fewer miles & fewer issues, until I'm recovered from my surgery & able to work again. I came here for an oil change & inspection for both cars, which I purchased fairly recently (both), and also to meet the team here to feel out the vibe. They seemed pretty legit. Brian Cornell used to be Service Manager at Jeff's Auto Repair on Hyw99 (Lynnwood), but is now the JEFFE (BOSS in Spanish) here at VT&AC, for I'm not sure how long. Btw, if Koen performs your oil change & inspection, bring him donuts or something bc he goes the extra mile. Even without any treats, he was respectful to me & my cars & very detail oriented. Thanks Koen, lmk if you want to buy my 2010 Cadillac SRX 3.0L with 183k miles. She needs a good home with someone who has the skills & tools to get her in tip top shape 👋😎
